![]() Ben Conley, AECOM, Carey Johnson, KDEP Carey Johnson is an Environmental Scientist Consultant Senior with the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection. For the past 19 years, he has led activities to help the Department accomplish goals in natural hazards management and resilience, developing and utilizing digital tools, and Clean Water and Safe Drinking Water Act activities. Carey manages the Cooperating Technical Partners (CTP) program with FEMA to identify flood hazards and reduce flood risks across the Commonwealth. He also serves as the state lead for Kentucky Silver Jackets collaborative efforts with the US Army Corps of Engineers. Ben Conley is a project manager for AECOM in the Louisville, KY office where he leads Risk MAP and floodplain efforts. He has over 20 years of experience in floodplain management and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
