Please join the Region 2 National Preparedness Division and NYC Emergency Management for a webinar on important considerations for inclusive planning for an active shooter/active threat incident. Our guest speaker, Andrew Perlman from New York City Emergency Management, will discuss actions a disability service provider can take to plan for this type of incident to ensure the safety of staff and clients. He will go over what to do in an active shooter/active threat situation, the roles of law enforcement, workplace management, and the disability community, and how to assess vulnerabilities. Who should attend? Disability, Access and Functional Needs service providers, advocates and community members, workplace management and law enforcement.
