Please join the Region 2 National Preparedness Division in partnership with the NY State Department of Environmental Conservation’s Office of Climate Change for a discussion on climate change. This presentation will describe projected climate change effects in New York State and the state’s programs to prepare for them. It will emphasize policies established pursuant to the Community Risk and Resiliency Act and the Scoping Plan for implementation of the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act and provide an overview of the proposed New York Cap and Invest program. Who should attend: Researchers, planners, green teams, state, local, territorial, and Tribal Nation government officials. Speaker Mark D.
