Please join FEMA Region 2 in partnership with and the National CERT Association (NCA) and California Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) for a webinar about De-escalating Strategies Anyone Can Learn. Whenever the crises come from disaster deployment, blue-sky events, or through team interactions, de- escalation strategies are another “tool” CERT personnel should have. Using her experience in alternative education, community service, and CERT, Dee will share some simple universal strategies and tips anyone can learn. Who should attend: Local, State, Federal government, Community and Faith-based Organizations, Emergency Managers, CERT Leads, Program Managers and volunteers. This event will include Live Captioning.
